Property Engineer to Technical Unit East

The operations of the Technical Unit East are carried out in Stockholm and Gotland counties. In this role, you will work throughout the region with the placement location in Karlberg. The Northern Technical Unit East currently consists of 11 property engineers and a group manager. Operations take place in northern Stockholm County, and the placement is in Karlberg, at Kungsängen and Räfsnäs.

As a property engineer, you will be part of the Technical Unit East, where you, on behalf of the manager, based on a project-oriented working method, are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up maintenance measures and owner-related investment projects within the property portfolio. As a property engineer, you will work with maintenance, operations, energy, technology, and environmental issues. You will also work with status inspections, maintenance plans, and cost analyses within the framework of the management assignment. You will also participate in the procurement of consultants and contractors and carry out projects within budget. The property engineer is responsible for handover and closure, as well as ensuring that as-built documents are delivered to archives, management, and operations.

The work includes travel within Stockholm County, with main tasks in Solna and Stockholm City, but assignments throughout the region may occur.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with at least a high school education in a relevant field for the position. You have experience in the property or construction industry. You communicate and express yourself well both orally and in writing in Swedish. A valid driver's license (minimum class B) is a requirement.

A university or college degree, or a high school engineer with a focus on civil engineering, road and water, construction or installation technology, architecture, property management, economics, or other relevant education is advantageous. It is also beneficial if you have work experience in:

• LOU/LUFS
• Contract law
• BAS P/U

It is advantageous if you have experience as a property engineer or technical manager and have project management experience. It is also beneficial if you have experience and knowledge in technical areas such as electrical/VVS/energy/environment within the property sector. If you also have experience with security protection agreements, it is to your advantage.
