Introduction

Are you OLearys' new star? As the Event and Nightclub Manager, you will be responsible for our nightclub concept ONights, where you will be involved in developing, creating, and ensuring a welcoming, festive, and pleasant environment where the guest and DJ/artist are always at the center.

Responsibilities

You will work closely with the venue manager to develop an artist and event plan. This includes monitoring and evaluating each individual event as well as ongoing operations for the nightclub. It requires you to be attentive to what nightclub guests are asking for and to communicate and initiate changes to adapt the operations to meet the requested needs. You will welcome and host artists and DJs, ensure their riders are met, and provide relevant information. Your role also includes creating and maintaining our ambassadors through various collaborations and offers. Additionally, you will act as our ambassador at KAU, ensuring that OLearys is the obvious choice for activities, gatherings, events, etc., and help us connect with students.

You will ensure that ongoing updates are published on our social media channels, primarily TikTok and Instagram, during the nightclub's opening hours. Together with the scheduling manager, you will ensure the staffing of VIP hosts/hostesses and ensure they work according to their job descriptions.

About You

We are looking for a positive, forward-thinking, and proactive person! You will act as the spider in the web during event nights between DJs, artists, technicians, and MOD to adapt the event based on the evening's conditions, which requires you to be flexible and able to work professionally even during stressful moments. We see that you have previous experience in nightlife and restaurants, preferably with a responsible position in operations and staff management.
