Process Operator at Sysmex Astrego in Uppsala

Currently, the prominent medtech company Sysmex Astrego is looking for a process operator to scale up their operations in Uppsala. Here you will have the opportunity to work in an interesting environment while contributing to combating antibiotic resistance in the world!

ABOUT THE POSITION

Astrego is a Uppsala-based subsidiary of the international Sysmex. They operate in the medtech industry and have developed a product aimed at combating antibiotic resistance globally. By quickly identifying the type of bacteria causing the disease and its resistance to various types of antibiotics, it can revolutionize the treatment of bacterial diseases by reducing misuse of antibiotics and shortening lead times. The company is currently present in several countries around the world and is a leader in its field.

Sysmex Astrego is currently in a scaling phase, and as a process operator, you will be involved in quality-consciously advancing their production together with your team of about 15 colleagues. You will have a varied role and be involved in large parts of the production process. The work is divided into two shifts where you will work weekdays, 38 hours/week, starting no earlier than 06:00 and ending no later than 22:45. In Uppsala, about 50 people work, and you will be welcomed into a workplace with high competence and a strong focus on collaboration.

The position is a consultancy assignment for six months with the possibility of extension and permanent employment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

  • Execution of production processes and controls according to guided instructions
  • Monitoring at semi-automatic machines and manual refilling
  • Image review at the screen and inspection of the product
  • Documentation

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Has completed high school
  • Has previous experience in production
  • Has experience working with GMP
  • Has knowledge of the Office suite
  • Has good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing, as both languages are used in daily work

It is a merit if you have experience in medical technology.
