About the Role

Do you want to use your expertise by working on strategic issues and developing the radiation protection area? Do you also want to help ensure Sweden's fossil-free electricity supply?

We are now looking for a team leader for Operational Radiation Protection at Forsmark Kraftgrupp.

About the Job

The group is responsible for supervising the production facilities concerning radiation protection, monitoring radiation doses to personnel, and preparing work concerning radiation protection and occupational safety. As a team leader, you will work in a well-mixed group where everyone works towards the same goal – to support daily operations with radiological knowledge.

Your Responsibilities

You will lead and manage the daily operations regarding personnel planning, tasks, and daily communication with the rest of the organization. Your role includes planning, budgeting, and following up on radiation protection work. You will drive development work together with the entire radiation protection organization, work proactively, and think long-term. It is also important to analyze events and be responsible for longer assignments. You will represent radiation protection in various forums and be an expert in radiation protection issues. Additionally, your responsibilities include writing reports and updating and writing instructions.

The position includes on-call duties and participation in Forsmark's accident organization, which means working some weekends and evenings.

Requirements

We expect you to have

  • High school education and experience leading others, for example, as a team leader, project manager, or similar
  • Fluent knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form

It is an advantage if you have extensive work experience in radiation protection and radiology, as well as knowledge of the Forsmark facility. Experience in report writing and good knowledge of English in both spoken and written form is also advantageous.
