Ankarskolan is a modern equipped F-9 school located in Träslövsläge, southwest of central Varberg, close to the sea and nature. The school has approximately 575 students in its airy and fresh facilities.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a licensed teacher in music for grades 4-9, preferably in combination with English.

Your role includes planning, implementing, and analyzing varied and differentiated teaching. Your responsibilities also include overseeing some of the school's recurring traditions, such as Lucia and graduations.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about meeting each student where they are and who wants to develop their work together with others to help our students find motivation for learning and reach their full potential. You will do this in close collaboration with your colleagues and together with the school's student health team.

Motivating and inspiring students is your greatest drive. Together with your colleagues, you will shape a relational leadership where the quality of teaching is the focus. We create the best possible meeting for learning.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed teacher with qualifications to teach music in grades 4-9, preferably in combination with English.

We place great importance on your ability to create good relationships with students as it is a key element in motivation-driven learning.

As a teacher, you are engaged and have a formative approach with the ability to create motivating and activating teaching. Your teaching is based on proven experience and scientific foundations with an exploratory approach.

You thrive in collaboration with colleagues and actively contribute to developing the operations by planning and following up on teaching together. You have good structure in your work and can adapt teaching based on the needs of students and the goals of the school. Together, we are responsible for creating a sustainable work environment where both students and staff feel good, can grow, and develop.
