Material Planner

The role of a material planner involves responsibility for the maintenance of our ordering systems for the supply of materials, all the way from supplier to customer.

The work is carried out in teams and in close collaboration with logistics production as well as with operational and strategic purchasing. Your work includes supplier contacts, contract and supplier follow-up, as well as inputting price adjustments and contract extensions into our various systems within the supply chain process. You are also responsible for generating statistics.

About You

You have education and experience in logistics, purchasing, or inventory management. You are a team player with a flexible approach and recognize the importance of good relationships with both your colleagues and suppliers and customers. You have strong communication skills in both spoken and written form and take responsibility for organizing your work effectively. You think strategically and from a broad perspective while maintaining quality.

We are looking for someone with good knowledge and interest in working with several different IT systems. Since we work across the region, you need to have a valid driver's license (B).

The central warehouse, which is part of the Logistics base unit, provides consumables to the entire Region Kalmar County and the external customers with whom the employer has contracts. We are responsible for the entire chain, from ordering to delivery, as well as for the IT systems that support this process.
