Do you want to kickstart your career in electricity, instrumentation, and automation? We are looking for someone who wants to step into an exciting role as a trainee in Karlstad Energy AB's business area of Heating and Cooling.

Here you will have the opportunity to develop as an electrical and instrumentation technician and contribute to today's and tomorrow's energy solutions. Responsibilities

During your year as a trainee, you will work in our electrical and instrumentation team and receive a solid introduction to the role. You will start with simpler tasks within the profession and gradually take on more advanced challenges. When you start at Karlstad Energy, you become part of an organization with passionate problem solvers who work together on important challenges. Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has recently graduated or is about to graduate from the electrical and energy program in high school and wants to grow in a future-oriented role.

You are curious, engaged, and have a desire to develop in maintenance, specifically in electricity, instrumentation, and automation. As a person, you keep a good order around you, are structured, and work methodically. You are a team player who spreads a good atmosphere in the team.

You need to have good knowledge of Swedish and English, as documentation and communication with suppliers primarily occur in these languages. You will have several external contacts and need to enjoy meeting new people. The role requires a B driver's license as travel is involved.

Upon hiring, mandatory alcohol and drug testing will be conducted, and valid identification must be presented at the interview. We will place great emphasis on personal qualities.

For the position, you need:

• A B driver's license.
• Good knowledge of the Office suite.
• Good ability to communicate in spoken and written form.

The employment is a special fixed-term position starting on August 20, 2025, and ending on August 14, 2026.
