Description and Job Responsibilities

Do you want to kickstart your career in the energy sector? Now you have the chance to get an exciting and educational summer job at Karlstad Energy AB! We are looking for someone who wants to work in the energy sector - an exciting and expanding industry that has been named Sweden's most attractive and equal for the third consecutive year.

As a summer intern with us, you will be part of our operational team and gain unique insight into how we work with district heating and cooling. During the summer, you will work on a variety of tasks, such as crane operation, monitoring operations, and managing incoming deliveries. You will also participate in preventive rounds of our facilities, handle reporting of fly ash, and ensure that the bunker hall is kept in order. Additionally, tasks may include fire watch during hot work and documentation and administration related to operations.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is studying at a vocational school or has recently graduated from vocational school and wants to gain experience and skills in production. You should have training for Hot Work, and if you have a crane certificate, it is a plus. It is also beneficial if you have experience in handling chemicals and safety procedures related to it.

You need to have good knowledge of Swedish and English, as documentation and communication with suppliers primarily occur in these languages.

For the position, you need:

• A valid driver's license (B).
• Training in Hot Work or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of the Office suite.
• Good ability to communicate in both spoken and written form.
