The university library supports the university's work to achieve and maintain high international quality in education and research. We are responsible for the purchase and accessibility of media and e-resources, digital systems, bibliometrics, and pedagogical support for students, teachers, and researchers.

Job Responsibilities

Your tasks will involve staffing and participating in the development of the library's existing services for students, such as integrated teaching, drop-in guidance, and various study-supporting services. You will help find new ways to meet and assist users both in the physical space and digitally, as well as contribute to other regular librarian tasks as needed.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with an academic degree in library and information science or equivalent as assessed by the employer.

A requirement for the position is that you have a very good ability to read, write, and speak Swedish and English. Furthermore, you should also have a good ability to read, understand, and convey complex information.

Meritorious

For this position, previous experience working in a university or college library or in a larger complex organization is desirable. Experience in library work in an educational, networking, and relationship-building role is also meritorious.
