Technician/Pool Technician with a focus on water treatment

The Property Department is responsible for managing and developing the municipality's property portfolio as well as processing housing adaptation grants. The department has a total of 30 employees in various professional roles within property management, property maintenance, operational optimization, rental management, construction project management, system administration, work management, and housing adaptation.

We are now looking for a technician/pool technician with a focus on water treatment for the operations unit within the Property Department in Technical Administration.

What we offer you!

As a technician/pool technician in Technical Administration, you will be responsible for the daily operation of pool and water treatment systems, primarily at the newly built Österåsbadet. In this position, you will also be responsible for property maintenance, participate in internal operational meetings for planning and follow-up, and perform technical work in the form of troubleshooting, supervision, maintenance, and preventive maintenance throughout the entire swimming facility. Your responsibilities include performing corrective maintenance in relation to response times and routines, as well as ensuring that all incoming fault reports are addressed and reported back in the issue management system. You will also follow a planned patrol schedule, which you will revise with the team leader as needed. You will be part of a smaller team working to ensure a safe and pleasant swimming environment for our visitors. Daily work is performed both collaboratively and independently.

The property operations unit is based in Technical Administration at the Garnison area in Hässleholm, but you will be located at Österåsbadet.

This position is a permanent employment with a start date to be agreed upon.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a technical high school diploma in areas such as HVAC, electrical engineering, property technology, or equivalent, or experience that the employer deems equivalent. You should also have experience in the operation and maintenance of property or water treatment systems, preferably in swimming facilities. To perform work safely, we expect you to have a good understanding of occupational health and safety regulations. The work requires follow-up and reporting in digital systems, which necessitates good computer skills. You need to be able to read, write, communicate effectively, and understand work instructions, which means you need to master the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.

For the job, you need a B driver's license for a manual transmission vehicle.
