Work life and welfare are organized into two parts: the economic group and the labor market unit. The goal is to promote self-sufficiency among residents through individual support and guidance. By creating tailored plans and collaborating with other actors, the unit strives to reduce the need for financial assistance, shorten the path to work and education, and contribute to a stronger local economy. The focus is on supporting individuals in their pursuit of an independent and sustainable life. Our goal is to work preventively, sustainably in the long term, and knowledge-based to meet future needs. We are facing significant changes with the new social services act, which will mean an increased focus on early interventions and preventive work. Regarding work methods, we actively work with supported employment and MI (Motivational Interviewing). Our work is based on the results of BIP research, ensuring that our interventions are evidence-based and tailored to the individual's needs.

Your tasks

As an occupational therapist, you will work in our labor market unit with a broad area of responsibility. The work includes conducting work ability assessments, performing individual assessments to identify work-related challenges and opportunities. You will also work with group activities, which involve planning, leading, and evaluating group interventions aimed at strengthening participants' resources and promoting their work rehabilitation. You will work cross-professionally with the labor market unit's supervisors, labor market consultants, social workers, rehabilitation guides, and other professional groups to create holistic solutions.

Documentation and follow-up of interventions are part of the tasks, both at the individual level and at an aggregated level.

Qualifications and requirements for employment:

• Licensed occupational therapist with relevant higher education.
• Previous work with work ability assessments and/or in work rehabilitation. Experience or willingness to work with supported employment, MI, and implement research results from BIP studies.
