Our day activity is aimed at those with dementia, where our guests are given the opportunity for social interaction, activation with various adapted activities, singing and music, and outdoor activities. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The main task of Eternellen's day activity is to provide our guests with a meaningful day and pleasant companionship in a homely environment. As an activity pedagogue with us, you will work to stimulate and activate those with dementia to maintain the functions that remain for as long as possible. The work includes structuring, planning, and organizing the days, leading various activities both in groups and individually. The work also includes cooking for our visitors and other simpler kitchen tasks as well as some care-related tasks.

Our goal is to enhance the quality of life for our guests through social interaction, physical activities, and participating in shared meals in a communal environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is an educated activity pedagogue with a focus on the elderly or has another equivalent education. You have experience in similar tasks and good knowledge of dementia and the elderly. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

A driving license (B) is an advantage but not a requirement.

Furthermore, you have a good pedagogical insight and understanding and adapt your way of conveying messages to suit the recipient's needs and conditions. As a person, you are secure and stable in your professional role. You have a personal maturity that allows you to clearly distinguish between the personal and the professional, which means you act in a way that is adapted to the situation.

You are self-sufficient and take responsibility for your tasks while driving them forward and ensuring that the work is carried out efficiently. You have good collaboration skills, listen actively, and communicate smoothly to create a positive work environment. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
