Stenungsund Municipality is an expanding coastal municipality with approximately 27,800 inhabitants, a strong business community, residential areas close to the sea, and good communication opportunities. The municipality is organized into a management with 4 sectors. The Social Services Sector includes 4 operations; special housing/municipal health and medical care, individual and family care, ordinary housing/personal assistance, and disability services. There are three special housing facilities in Stenungsund Municipality; Tallåsen, Hällebäck, and Pressaregården.

Here at Tallåsen, we have 13 units, of which eight are dementia-oriented, three are somatic-oriented, and two are geriatric psychiatric units. Tallåsen is centrally located in Stenungsund, about 200 meters from Stenungsund station and about 700 meters from Stenungstorg shopping center.

We are a round-the-clock operation run by a driven and competent team consisting of nursing assistants, care assistants, nurses, rehabilitation staff, administrators, service staff, and unit managers. Together we are ONE TEAM. Our focus is to create a safe place based on good and safe care. One of our goals is to offer residents a meaningful existence based on participation and their own physical ability, where special moments and activities play a central role in everyday life.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an employee, you have an important role in creating a meaningful everyday life for individuals, taking into account each user's individual needs and conditions. The goal is for each user to live a dignified life and feel well-being. The working method should lead to good and safe care where the tenant achieves meaningfulness, comprehensibility, and manageability in their life situation through influence and participation.

You will work based on contact management and implementation plans and have close cooperation with other professional categories such as rehabilitation staff, nurses, and doctors. The work includes documentation and performing health and medical tasks by delegation.

QUALIFICATIONS

• You should have the ability to meet people in a professional manner and be attentive to the tenant's needs. Work in our dementia units requires you to adapt your approach to the needs of those you meet.
• You should have a nursing assistant education and experience in care work.
• You are calm and have a clear user focus and a natural ability to see the relative as an important part of the team.
• You should easily adapt your working methods based on changed conditions and new information.
• You are good at motivating tenants to preserve abilities and independence.
• You laugh, contribute to a good atmosphere in the workgroup, and contribute to positive development for the organization.
• You are innovative and dare to try new things.
• You share your knowledge with other colleagues.
• As documentation is an important part of our work, we would like you to express yourself well in both speech and writing.
• You should be familiar with applicable legislation and know the national guidelines for care and support in dementia.
