What does the role entail?

As a property caretaker at Scandic, your primary focus is to keep the hotel in good condition for our guests. Scandic is a tenant and is operationally responsible for both the hotel's property and the building. The work takes place largely in hotel rooms and other guest areas, which means many hellos in the corridor to our guests - that is precisely where and when we demonstrate the good service we provide.

In your role, you will work with daily operations as well as planned and corrective maintenance of the hotel's premises and installations such as doors, locks, furnishings, and equipment in hotel rooms, gyms, kitchens, restaurants, conference rooms, pools, and saunas/relaxation areas. Measures for optimizing the building's climate system, heating, and ventilation, as well as reading consumption levels, are also included.

Furthermore, the role includes working with the hotel's fire and safety, property management, and maintenance, both preventive and emergency. Sustainability is an important guiding principle, and you will actively work to incorporate it into our work methods. The operation involves some regulatory requirements, and you will be involved in many of these. Structure, accuracy, drive, and flexibility are important qualities; you have an eye for detail and enjoy working with people in a changing environment. You will report to a Property Manager.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with technical education and experience in property management. You have knowledge in one of the areas of electrical, plumbing, or control technology. Knowledge of fire safety is required for the position, along with training in fire alarm & sprinkler systems and certification. Additionally, you are computer literate and have good knowledge of Swedish and English.
