The Gothenburg Primary School Administration is one of the largest school administrations in Sweden. We are responsible for the city's municipal schools from preschool to grade nine, adapted primary school, culture school, and after-school care. The administration has 138 municipal primary schools where nearly 47,000 students attend school every day. The entire administration has about 9,700 employees who work together to develop and take care of the operations - together we pave the way for the school of the future.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Oscar Fredriksskolan is a F-6 school located in the heart of Linnéstaden with good communication via both bus and tram. Here we are about 50 employees working together with our 430 students. Nearby the school, there are Slottsskogen, the Botanical Garden, green parks, and playgrounds. We place great emphasis on being outdoors and being active, but also on taking part in the city's rich cultural offerings. This school year, we have launched two major initiatives where we have become a PALS school in collaboration with the Västra Götaland region, and also a training school for VFU students.

We are now looking for a licensed teacher in after-school care with a focus on music who wants to work with our students in grades F-3. At Oscar Fredriksskolan, each class has its own after-school care with close collaboration within the grade. Together with the grade's teachers in after-school care, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the after-school activities. The school's collective working group with teachers in after-school care has a good collaboration to ensure the quality and equity of the after-school care. We actively work to increase opportunities for students to meet across age boundaries and strengthen the sense of community. The position may include some teaching in music.

In the position as a teacher in after-school care, you will design the pedagogical activities so that each student's unique conditions and abilities are taken into account and each individual student is challenged based on the after-school care's mission. Collegial learning is a focus in our operations, and you should have an interest and commitment to this. We expect you to actively contribute to the school's ongoing development work, where outdoor activities and PALS work have a clear focus.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are now looking for a licensed teacher in after-school care with a focus on music. We prefer that you have experience working in after-school care. It is an advantage if you have experience as a VFU supervisor and have completed supervisor training. As a person, you are positive, flexible, enterprising, and willing to think outside the box. You have a genuine interest in children's development and learning.
