We are looking for someone interested in working with workshop planning, focusing on structure, order, and having a helicopter perspective.

You will prepare the products manufactured through sheet metal preparation, welding, and machining. Your main tasks will include:

• Identifying needs and ordering tools and equipment for production.
• Ensuring that planning documents are kept up to date.
• Reporting discrepancies in manufacturing documents or suggesting improvements for efficiency.
• Making changes to documents such as operation lists and item lists.
• Conducting buy/make analysis.
• Actively participating in improvement efforts aimed at reducing costs while increasing quality and delivery reliability.

The production technology department is part of a section within BAE called Prototype and Hull. Within our section, we build the chassis that become finished vehicles and have all processes with high-tech machines from cutting to painting in-house.

Reporting will be to the Head of Planning/Procurement.

Who you are

We believe you have a relevant education and come from the manufacturing industry. You may have practical experience in welding, machining, sheet metal preparation, or production technology work related to workshops. We would like you to have experience working with planning in the SAP business system or another business system. As we are an international corporation, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish and English.

The role requires you to be independent. As a person, you are structured and have a strong drive. You find it easy to collaborate and enjoy being part of a team.
