Job Description

We are looking for someone who wants to take on a role that is a collaboration between AFRY and our client in Örnsköldsvik! Perhaps you are our next talent?

The client is a product development company that delivers advanced technical solutions in defense, aerospace, and security, focusing on development, manufacturing, and support for the global market. They are facing a period of several exciting changes and challenges and now need support from a production engineer with an interest in production and projects.

Responsibilities include:

Development of:
• Balancing documents, Production setups, risk assessments
• Standards, Ergonomics
• Tools & Equipment
• Layout, Material presentation
• Time studies, frequency studies, staffing requirements
• Documentation
• Deviation management and problem-solving

You will have a central role where you will have the opportunity to work with technical challenges, often in teams with other production engineers and operators. Coordination of activities related to methods, processes, tools, and machines will be part of your daily routine.

The role is located at the client's premises in Örnsköldsvik.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we believe you have a university degree in engineering - preferably with a mechanical engineering focus and have gathered 2-5 years of work experience as a production engineer. You have a strong interest in technology and an analytical ability but are not afraid to work hands-on and spend a significant part of your time in production. You appreciate working with other people and are driven by seeing results and developing. You are a down-to-earth person with good communication skills and realize that the team is stronger than the individual.

As a person, you are analytical, fearless, and have a self-driven ability.

You are fluent in both Swedish and English, in speech and writing.

Experience in machining is an advantage.
