Your Future Challenge

The work is project-based, and as a Technical Project Manager, you are ultimately responsible for the delivery of the vehicle system in our projects. You lead the work to realize customer and internal requirements throughout the product lifecycle, from development to support. You will have significant responsibility in your work and a great opportunity to influence technology development in our projects and products.

The role involves interfaces both externally with customers and suppliers as well as significant internal interfaces across various areas of expertise, such as designers, production, testing, ILS maintenance/spare parts, as well as project managers and line managers.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• be responsible for planning, execution, and control of the development and delivery of the vehicle system
• continuously estimate time and resources, as well as plan and follow up project budgets against project costs
• define and implement corrective actions with project management and project groups.
• ensure that the work is carried out according to relevant guidelines and procedures
• assess risks, opportunities, and decide on the way forward.
• Lead and communicate with the project team.
• engage and motivate colleagues in the area so that they perform well and deliver the right thing at the right time, with the right quality

We work in a matrix organization, and in the line, you will be part of the Engineering Management department with currently 15 colleagues in technical project management. You report to the head of Technical Project Management.

Who You Are

We are looking for someone with a technical academic education and good technical competence, preferably in areas such as mechanical engineering, engineering physics, electronics, and/or software.

You have experience in technical project management and leading through other leaders. You have a methodical and systematic approach; you plan ahead, make clear priorities, and allocate resources effectively. You need to have commercial awareness and experience in analyzing and managing risks and opportunities. Of course, you have a good ability to influence and make an impression on others, as well as build good relationships. You are communicative and skilled at motivating project members, resulting in good results with high quality.

As we work in an international environment, you need to have good knowledge of both Swedish and English in speech and writing.
