About Us

At the Emergency Medical Dispatch Center (SvLc), you work at the center of events and contribute to making a difference. The Emergency Medical Dispatch Center started in 2017 and is part of the Västra Götaland region. The dispatch center works with assessment and prioritization of care cases via 112, as well as with coordination of resources for patient transport and air ambulance.

Our mission is to ensure that the patient receives the right care at the right level with the right resource at the right time - for example, through ambulance, air ambulance, patient transport, or referral to seated patient transport.

We work in teams with triaging incoming 112 calls, where we follow up on patients waiting for resources (ambulance, mobile primary care teams, etc.). We coordinate ambulances, helicopters, and patient transport to allocate appropriate pre-hospital resources.

The operation runs around the clock, and for this position, we are looking for nurses who will work both day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Our operations are based in Gothenburg and at NÄL in Trollhättan.

About You

• Licensed nurse
• 3 years of experience as a nurse
• Good multitasking ability
• Good communication skills with a positive attitude
• Stress resilience
• Good collaboration skills
• Clear and structured
• Proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Desirable:

• Pre-hospital experience
• Computer skills, Office package, etc.
• Other language skills are an advantage

It is important that you are accustomed to working with technical aids such as IT and telephony, as you will be working in an advanced high-tech environment. Experience with CoordCom, Alitis, SAFE, or other dispatch systems is an advantage. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

We apply the ISP scheduling system with shifts during days, evenings, and weekends.
