Summer Job in Giant Balsam Control

Are you strong, resilient, and want to guarantee a tan? We are looking for three fearless summer workers for our facility group to combat giant balsam during the summer season of 2025.

Job Description

The work mainly consists of manually pulling up giant balsam plants. You will work in varying environments alongside others in a team.

Qualifications

You need to enjoy working outdoors in natural environments. You should be able to navigate difficult terrain and expect to get both sweaty and wet during a work shift. The job is physically demanding, so you need to have relatively good physical condition to handle a full workday.

You must be able to understand work instructions and then work independently based on them.

Personal suitability is highly valued!

We are looking for someone who:

• is or turns 16 during the calendar year 2025 or is older
• has good physical fitness as the job can be heavy at times
• is resilient and has a strong work ethic
• can communicate in Swedish
• is attentive to your surroundings
• can work independently and take initiative

It is an advantage if you have:

• a B driver's license
• experience with handheld machines such as trimmers.

Other Information

The work will take place over 5 weeks, from week 26-31, June 23 - July 24. You will primarily work Monday to Thursday, 07:30 - 16:30 throughout the period. By agreement, the work period/hours may be adjusted.

The position is based at the Lilla Edet municipal office.

The municipality provides work clothes.

Selection and interviews will be ongoing and may begin before the application deadline.
