Would you like to have a fun and developing summer job at 2047 Science Center this summer? Then this is something for you!

2047 Science Center is one of 20 exciting science centers in Sweden. We have a well-visited experimental environment that welcomes more than 50,000 visitors annually, where our guests can test and be inspired by various experiments, workshops, and activities in natural sciences, technology, and mathematics. In the summer, we also run the Electric Car Park Eldorado in collaboration with Borlänge Energi, which we do with the help of a wonderful team of summer-working youth.

Summer is just around the corner, and we are looking for young people who want to work as activity hosts in the Electric Car Park Eldorado and in the activities at our science center. How does this sound? Do you want to be one of us this summer?

Job Responsibilities

• You will work outdoors in the Electric Car Park Eldorado, preparing and maintaining the park in good condition.
• You will welcome and guide families visiting Eldorado.
• You will work indoors as an activity host in selected activities that we conduct for our visitors at our science center.
• You will be a guide for some of the presentations in our planetarium.
• If you are over 18, some supervisory tasks may also be included in your responsibilities.

Who are you?

This summer job is suitable for you if you…

• Have an interest in natural sciences and technology
• Are service-oriented, positive, and helpful
• Can work independently and see what needs to be done
• Appreciate contact and meetings with our visitors
• Are comfortable leading and speaking in front of a group

It is an advantage if you…

• Have previous experience leading some form of activity for children and youth
• Are practically inclined and enjoy tinkering with cars or mopeds.

Working Hours

We divide the summer job into two periods. Work is scheduled Monday to Saturday, and we are closed on Sundays. You will work 4-5 days a week. Working hours are from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch break.
