Försvarshälsan is located in Karlsborg in a historic environment within the fortress area, surrounded by beautiful nature and close to Lake Vättern.

You will be part of our health team consisting of doctors, occupational nurses, psychologists, health educators, physiotherapists/ergonomists, occupational safety engineers, and medical secretaries. Försvarshälsan is the Swedish Armed Forces' integrated occupational health service and 'health center' for conscript personnel. Health promotion and preventive work form the backbone of our operations, where the goal is to minimize both organizational and individual ill health. Position

Försvarshälsan offers you a stimulating, varied, and developing job as a physiotherapist in an organization with a progressive and positive atmosphere.

Main Responsibilities

As a physiotherapist, you will be able to assess, treat, rehabilitate, and prevent injuries in the musculoskeletal system for conscripts/students and employed staff.

The promotional and preventive work includes education and counseling, which is an important part of the job. You need to have knowledge in the area of ergonomic loading, both at group and individual levels. The work is based on the needs of the organization, which means that it may take place in locations other than the regular clinic, such as out in the field, at the gym, or in the forest.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• Licensed physiotherapist with good clinical experience in the profession
• Current and relevant experience in diagnostics and treatment within the musculoskeletal system
• Experience in preventive work and/or ergonomic loading
• Good ability to express oneself in speech and writing
• Driving license B

You need to be collaborative, flexible, and proactive to meet the needs of the organization.

You must be self-sufficient in your work while also having good teamwork skills as a prerequisite for the position. We prefer that you have an interest in physical activity and health. As an employer, we offer you up to 3 hours of physical activity each week.

• Documented experience in assessing and treating sports and load-related injuries
• Knowledge and interest in training rehabilitation and ability to guide in rehabilitation

• Completed military service/GU/GMU with passing grades

Other

Employment type: Permanent position. A six-month probationary period applies.

Employment rate: Full-time.

Level: Civil position. Location: Karlsborg. Service at other units and on evenings and weekends may occur as needed.

Start date: 2025-08-12 or as agreed.

Individual salary setting applies.

Swedish citizenship is required as the position is classified in a security class.

The Life Regiment Hussars, K 3, has fast and powerful units and a long experience in the intelligence field. K 3 trains a ranger battalion and an intelligence battalion.

The ranger battalion is a unit with high mobility that should be able to be first on site during an operation. The intelligence battalion delivers intelligence by using advanced technology, personnel on the ground, and unmanned aerial vehicles (RPAS).
