Job responsibilities:

As a waste collection driver, your tasks include collecting waste around the municipality either alone or with a colleague. The workday starts at the recycling center where you depart from to then transport yourself and the garbage truck around a planned route. After you have completed all stops on the route, you return to the recycling center and empty the truck. You should be in good physical shape as the work is physically demanding.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who takes responsibility, learns quickly, and is detail-oriented. Furthermore, we see that you are service-minded as customer contact occurs on a daily basis. The job also requires you to work under stress, be able to perform physical work, and have an environmental and safety mindset when operating the vehicle. To be suitable for this position, you are a team player who enjoys both driving and physical activity. Since the workplace is located a bit away from public transport, having access to your own car is an advantage.

Qualifications:

Completed high school education. Fluent Swedish in speech and writing. C driver's license. Valid Professional Competence Certificate (YKB). Digital tachograph card.

Meritorious

Previous experience in waste collection work.
