About the job

As a team leader/CE driver, your role will be a combination of administrative tasks, but your main responsibility will be to deliver food products to Axfood's stores and ensure they receive the right goods, in the right way and at the right time. You will deliver both dry goods and refrigerated/frozen items in containers and on pallets that you unload on-site at the stores. You may also assist with loading at the terminal as needed.

As a team leader in the transport department at Dagab Bålsta, you are an important cog as you lead, distribute, and follow up on the work within your unit. Together with other team leaders in the transport department, you actively work on improvements for the continued development of the department and Axfood. As a team leader, you are very involved and driving in the daily operations and work to ensure that routines, rules, work instructions, laws, and regulations are followed, while also working proactively to minimize operational disruptions. You also monitor delivery quality in terms of timeliness, damages, and missing items, as well as other key performance indicators.

A significant part of your work as a team leader is to create joy, engagement, and participation within the work group. You continuously work to streamline, increase productivity, and improve the quality of the driver team, as well as follow up on performance at both group and individual levels. You are also involved in the introduction of new employees.

You will be based at Dagab's terminal located in Bålsta, where you will also return after your shift.

Introduction and training on routines and processes will take place before starting.

Who are we looking for:

• You have good experience in driving and customer contact, as well as a high sense of service
• You have basic computer skills
• Administrative experience
• You are confident in reversing to the dock with a truck and trailer
• You have a good sense of order and accuracy
• As the job can be physically demanding, we prefer that you take care of your health and have good physical fitness so you can work ergonomically correct.
• Weight will also be placed on your other personal qualities

Working hours:

We prefer that you can be flexible with which days and times you can work, to support where the need is greatest. (May potentially become a rolling schedule) Monday - Friday 05:00 - 14:00

Rolling schedule covering all hours of the day.

Requirements:

• CE driving license
• Valid YKB
• ADR 1.3
• Forklift license
• You can understand, speak, and read Swedish without hindrance

Meritorious:

• At least 6 months of daily driving of heavy trucks with trailers
• Previous experience in food distribution
