Description

We are a urological inpatient department caring for patients with urinary tract diseases. Our operations encompass everything from major open surgery to robot-assisted laparoscopic surgery. We encounter a wide range of diagnoses such as various forms of urological cancer, stone disease, bladder disorders, and more. We also receive a large number of patients from the emergency and accident reception.

If you are new to the profession, you will also participate in an introductory program for nursing assistants at Sahlgrenska University Hospital to further strengthen and deepen your knowledge.

About the job

The work as a nursing assistant in urology is developing and varied. You work in a team together with nurses and other professional categories where you are responsible for the care and monitoring of patients. In consultation with the nurse in your team, you also perform sample collections, dressings, and more.

About you

We are looking for someone who puts the patient first and works to provide the best possible care and treatment for patients. You take responsibility for your tasks, can see what needs to be done, and communicate well with others. You easily adapt to changing circumstances and remain calm, stable, and controlled even when the work situation changes.

You who apply are a trained nursing assistant. We prefer that you have previous experience in hospital care. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
