About the assignment

We are looking for a Supply Chain Planner/Analyst for the Contract Manufacturing team during a 4-month parental leave for one of the team members at our client Thermo Fisher. The assignment is expected to start on 2025-04-01 and last until 2025-08-29, with the possibility of extension.

The team consists of six people and manages the entire supply chain for the portfolio of finished products delivered from third-party manufacturing. The portfolio consists of analytical instruments and spare parts. Our mission is to ensure an efficient and quality-adjusted delivery of products to our commercial operations. This includes ownership of our sales, inventory, and operational planning processes including demand, supply, and inventory management.

In the role of Supply Chain Planner/Analyst, you will have operational responsibility within the team that serves our customers.

  • Ensure early orders and forecasts of instruments and spare parts
  • Respond to internal customer inquiries regarding orders, availability, and estimated delivery dates
  • Ensure that spare parts safety stock is updated and relevant
  • Propose alternative solutions and communicate to stakeholders in case of shortages or delayed deliveries to minimize impact on the organization
  • Ensure that performance KPIs are updated on time
  • Activate continuous improvements within your area of responsibility
  • Support with ad hoc analysis on demand, supply, inventory, and cost upon request from the Supply Chain manager.

About you

The role will suit you if you enjoy the variety of working independently in close contact with the market companies as well as in various projects and collaborating with colleagues and customers. You are self-driven, have a high degree of flexibility, and a strong work ethic with the goal of getting the job done.

  • You have a bachelor's or master's degree in industrial economics or equivalent with 2 years of experience in supply chain, preferably in the pharmaceutical or medical technology industry.
  • You have a strong results focus and developed analytical skills
  • You can easily communicate in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
