Parkdalaskolan is a modern school for grades 4-9, located in central Ronneby. The school has approximately 540 students and around 90 staff members. The staff includes teachers, principal, vice principal, student assistants, administrators, librarians, and various resources within student health such as school nurses, counselors, special educators, career counselors, and leisure educators. Additionally, there are full-time mentors in grades 7-9 who work to support students' development and well-being.

JOB DESCRIPTION

You will work as a special educator in grades 7-9 and become an important part of the school's student health work and student health team. The goal of our student health work is to promote and prevent efforts that benefit all students at the school.

In the role of special educator, you will conduct educational investigations and assessments. Part of your assignment also involves working with students in need of special support, both individually and in groups.

As a special educator, you have a clear overview of the school's efforts based on leadership and stimulation, additional adjustments, and special support. An important part of your work is to guide and advise staff as well as observe classes to develop learning environments and increase goal fulfillment. The position involves close collaboration with students, guardians, colleagues, and external contacts.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree as a special educator or equivalent education.
• Experience working with students with special needs, preferably within primary education.
• Good knowledge of various pedagogical methods and tools.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
