Your Responsibilities

As an Operational Service Manager, you will have the operational responsibility to ensure a high level of service for our customers. You will lead and develop a team consisting of service coordinators, in-house technicians, and service technicians located in various locations in Sweden. Your main responsibilities include:

• Leading and managing daily service operations.
• Assisting and supporting your colleagues with technical expertise.
• Advising on the sale of automation lines/machines.
• Ensuring that service technicians have the right training and qualifications.
• Managing customer contacts regarding service, warranties, and other matters.
• Coordinating collaboration with suppliers in Europe and local service partners.

Initially, this is a supervisory role that may evolve to include personnel responsibility in the future.

Good to Know

ASM's service organization currently consists of eight employees located in Stockholm, Linköping, Karlskrona, and Malmö. As a Service Manager, you will be based at our office in Malmö, and travel is required for the position.

Our Expectations

To fit the role of Operational Service Manager, we see that you have previous experience in similar work within automation and machinery. Perhaps you have worked as a service manager, maintenance manager, operations manager, team leader, or in a similar role. Specifically, we are looking for the following:

• Good knowledge of PLC, preferably Siemens.
• Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams.
• Experience working closely with customers, preferably alongside salespeople and technicians.
• Experience leading employees remotely.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English as you will be in contact with customers and suppliers both within and outside Sweden.
• Driver's license (B).

You thrive in collaboration with others and are skilled at building trust and engagement with both internal and external stakeholders through your ability to communicate and motivate decisions.
