About the Position

SWEP International AB is seeking a Maintenance and Facilities Manager for its production facility in Landskrona.

As the Maintenance and Facilities Manager at SWEP, you will be responsible for planning, executing, following up, and developing the maintenance activities of the organization for both production equipment and facilities. Your work significantly contributes to the successful operation and continued development of a world-class production business. You will have the support of 11 experienced employees whom you will also lead, and you will report to the Engineering Manager in Landskrona.

Your Main Responsibilities

Your overall responsibilities as the Maintenance and Facilities Manager include:

  • Leading, coaching, and developing the team and employees within the Maintenance and Facilities Department
  • Planning, executing, and developing maintenance of production equipment and facilities
  • Participating in and supporting investment projects and process development projects
  • Driving long-term activities for the continued development of preventive maintenance
  • Implementing standardized maintenance procedures
  • Driving continuous improvement efforts
  • Maintaining contacts with service and equipment suppliers
  • Ensuring the availability of spare parts
  • Managing the department's budget and expenses
  • Monitoring developments regarding changes and updates to standards and requirements related to maintenance
  • Maintaining regulatory contacts related to the area of responsibility and performing reporting
  • Evaluating maintenance KPIs and planning and initiating improvement activities accordingly
  • Regularly conducting workplace meetings and development discussions
  • Contributing to and encouraging cross-functional collaboration within the company

Who Are You?

In the role of Maintenance and Facilities Manager, it is a requirement that you have experience in maintenance work in an industrial setting. You also have leadership experience and enjoy working on leading and developing people. You have a relevant technical education.

You have good knowledge of both corrective and preventive maintenance work with knowledge equivalent to an EFNMS certification. Experience in property maintenance is an advantage. You are accustomed to driving change and improvement efforts, and you can positively and pedagogically involve and engage relevant individuals in the activities. You are proficient in both Swedish and English, spoken and written, to communicate internally as well as with external contacts.

As a person, you are positive and curious while being goal-oriented and responsible. You thrive in the operational environment where you naturally interact with colleagues and employees. You are used to taking initiative and with strong drive, you carry out both larger and smaller tasks effortlessly. You are structured and good at planning while being able to prioritize and act on rapidly arising situations with a holistic view.

As a leader, you are inclusive and encouraging while being able to guide and make decisions when necessary. You are good at collaborating, and you are attentive and communicative.
