About the Position

As a workshop mechanic at Källhage Truck, you will be stationed in our new workshop. In this position, you will have daily contact with our service manager to keep the workshop in good condition and assist customers in the best possible way; therefore, the service manager will be your closest colleague to whom you report directly.

Your tasks will mainly consist of repairs, service, and preparation of sold/rented forklifts. You will assist our customers with technical support regarding the forklifts and order spare parts for your own jobs.

You will report your working hours daily via an app on your mobile after completing your job. We prioritize our customers, and therefore it is of utmost importance to be service-minded and to inform and follow up with our customers continuously. In our workshop, you have a very important role as larger repairs that cannot be done in the field often come in; you will take care of these in our workshop. You are also responsible for informing the service manager about forklifts that come in from drivers, which may be purchased forklifts or forklifts that have been rented out.

You are unpretentious in your manner and also help to load/unload forklifts that are sold/rented out. In the role of workshop mechanic, a lot of preparation of sold/rented forklifts is included; this may involve cleaning inside and outside, sanitizing, going through customer damages that need to be reported to the service manager, sanding, painting, and lacquering, so it is important to be able to sand and paint/lacquer and not be afraid to get dirty.

It is important to have knowledge of electricity as most of the forklifts are electrified.

Your Profile

• For the position, it is required that you have vehicle training and/or experience in similar tasks such as good knowledge of electricity, troubleshooting, hydraulics, and mechanics.

• It is a requirement to be able to sand, paint/lacquer.

• It is a requirement to have an eye for order and tidiness.

• It is a requirement to master Swedish in both spoken and written form.

• Computer skills are a requirement as we troubleshoot via computers.

• A B driver's license is a requirement as a service vehicle is used in the position.

Meritorious:

• Can speak and write in English
• Has knowledge of welding
• Holds a forklift license
• Has worked with forklifts
• Holds training for fork testing and fire protection.
