Are you a socially engaged communicator who wants to make a difference in healthcare and social services? Uppsala Municipality is now looking for a communicator for the Health and Social Care Administration!

The Health and Social Care Administration offers activities, support, and care for the elderly and people with disabilities. We strive for the residents of Uppsala to live an active and independent life. With 7,700 employees and 200 managers, we are a large and important part of Uppsala Municipality.

Your Mission

As a communicator with us, you will work closely with the operations to identify and meet communication needs. You will create and implement communication plans, produce engaging content, and publish on the web and social media. You will support managers in their communication challenges and handle communication during crises. You will have support from specialists in web, social media, press, design, and film production.

Your Background

We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in media and communication studies or similar. You are a skilled writer and are used to publishing in both digital channels and working with print production. Experience in project management and media handling is a plus. You have very good knowledge of Swedish and are accustomed to working in Microsoft Office 365. Experience with Episerver is an advantage.

As a person, you are communicative, structured, and good at collaborating. Furthermore, you have the ability to see the big picture and view issues from a broader perspective.
