Academic Resource is looking for a Financial Coordinator for an exciting assignment within Facility Management in Uppsala. Do you have experience in financial administration and a strong ability to manage budgets and follow-ups? Are you a structured and solution-oriented person who enjoys working efficiently and delivering at a high level? The assignment is a consulting role and initially lasts for 1 year, with a good possibility of extension.

About the role

As a Financial Coordinator, you will play an important role in ensuring that the Facility Management operations in Uppsala have a safe and efficient facility with access to premises, services, and support so that it can be operated sustainably and effectively. You will be responsible for creating and following up on routines for investment and maintenance budgets.

Responsibilities:

Ensure that Facility Management has a well-functioning investment budget (CAPEX) and maintenance budget (OPEX) by creating and following up on routines.

Manage funnel and budget planning for investments and maintenance.

Follow up and report on budget/estimates.

Ensure quality control of CAR (Corrective Action Requests).

Work closely with the finance team to manage budget planning, follow-ups, and reporting.

Qualifications:

Education in finance or a similar field.

Communicative and solution-oriented.

Able to work in a structured and independent manner.

Strong collaborative skills.

Patience and the ability to lead both within and outside your own organization.

Very good knowledge of MS Office.

Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
