About the position

Most of Lowell's special handling takes place within BackOffice. Here we ensure that the right cases are handed over for processing by the Enforcement Authority, and we also handle incoming and outgoing payments from customers to our clients. We manage claims related to debt restructuring, bankruptcy, estates, mortgages, and international debt collection.

The unit consists of employees with high competence and experience in various areas, and currently, we are about 55 employees in total. We are now restructuring within the unit, and a new team is being formed, where we are merging our products for mortgages, auto, rent, and international, and for this competent team with exciting products, we are looking for an experienced leader.

Main responsibilities

  • Work to provide our most important asset, our staff, with the right conditions for good performance
  • Create an inspiring and developing work environment and well-being among your employees
  • Through a coaching leadership style, create engagement and drive in your team to achieve short- and long-term goals
  • Clearly communicate direction, goals, and activities
  • Ensure compliance and quality in daily work
  • Develop daily operations and analyze the team's work methods to create structure, follow-up, and efficiency.
  • Challenge processes, streamline, and drive change as a natural part of everyday life
  • Business acumen
  • Together with other team leaders, ensure that we deliver a BackOffice that is Best in our field.

You will have personnel responsibility for 11 people and report to the Head of BackOffice.

Who we are looking for

For this position, you need to have several years of experience in the debt collection industry or alternatively several years of experience in banking and mortgages. We are looking for a proven ability to challenge processes and routines, drive improvement work, and documented experience in leading others in a similar sector.

To succeed in the role, we believe it is important that you have strong communication skills, good leadership qualities, and a passion for streamlining and finding new ways of working. You work with a coaching leadership style, which means you work closely with your employees through goal dialogues, active listening, and feedback conversations by providing direct and clear feedback.

You take initiative, are results-oriented, and have a high level of ambition. You have result responsibility for your team while it is natural to take great responsibility for the whole. We place great importance on your ability to lead other people. Your working hours are currently daytime, Monday to Friday.
