The Position

We are currently looking for a Product & Process Coordinator who will focus on product preparation and be in contact with suppliers during the quotation process. In this role, you will be the link between different functions and systems, so you need a holistic view and the ability to act globally. You should have general technical knowledge and a passion for discipline and structure in your daily work.

The product and process preparation team strives for a unified approach in our business system to achieve efficient management worldwide. The tools we use are the technical system Teamcenter and the business system IFS. All products are created in Teamcenter and then transferred to IFS.

Responsibilities

• Perform product preparation for standard and customized products in the business system IFS.
• Maintain existing product data in IFS, keeping global processes in mind, and ensure established processes are followed.
• Conduct a global impact analysis and report when a product change occurs.
• Implement necessary actions in IFS during design changes.
• Work closely with suppliers, both in projects and for “one-off” customized products.
• Request and analyze quotations (quality, lead time, cost, etc.)
• Compile and forward information to the purchaser within Roxtec from any of our business areas.

Background

You have a technical interest and knowledge as well as experience in reading drawings to determine how a product should be produced. You have commercial skills to get the best out of the quotation process. It is an advantage if you have worked in an international environment.

You will be in contact with colleagues all over the world, and travel may be required in this role. A prerequisite for success in this position is that you are fluent in English.
