Technical Sales Representative at Feralco Nordic

Feralco Nordic manufactures and sells chemicals for water treatment to municipalities, the paper and pulp industry, and other industries in the Nordic region. Welcome to a stable company that helps ensure access to our most essential resource - clean water.

Your Responsibilities

As a Technical Sales Representative at Feralco Nordic AB, you will be responsible for sales and customer development primarily in the South region (Blekinge, Skåne, and Halland), where acquiring new customers is as important as managing and developing existing ones. You will work with water treatment products for both municipal and industrial customers and play a central role in driving the sales process from prospecting to contract and follow-up.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Managing the sales process from prospecting to contract and follow-up
  • Acquiring new customers and developing existing business relationships within both industrial segments and with operational staff and decision-makers in the water sector
  • Identifying and creating business opportunities within new product segments
  • Updating customer prices and contributing to the budgeting process for your regional responsibility
  • Preparing business proposals and procurement work in close collaboration with colleagues in the team.

You will be part of an incredibly competent team with experience and expertise in water treatment and Feralco Nordic's product range. One of the team's successes is the close collaboration within the group and how different team members' expertise is utilized and combined to optimize the customer's water treatment solution, ensuring that we have clean water in land, lakes, and seas.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a strong sales drive where interest in the environment, water, and community benefit, combined with technical understanding, leads to success. You do not need to have experience in the water treatment industry - we value the ability to learn and understand technical processes. We offer training and support from experienced colleagues.

Your experiences and skills that we hope you bring to Feralco include:

  • Experience in sales within, for example, process industry, paper/pulp, food industry, water sector, or relevant authority experience
  • Knowledge of public procurement and sales to municipal operations is an advantage
  • Understanding and persistence in long and complex business arrangements
  • Education in technology, environment, energy sector, or similar is an advantage
  • Very good business understanding of contracts, pricing, and budgeting within your area of responsibility

You are a natural initiator who enjoys creating business, whether it involves prospecting new customers or developing existing collaborations with a focus on long-term relationships. You have analytical skills and can identify business opportunities and find solutions that create value for the customer. Furthermore, you are persistent, structured, and results-oriented, while also having a responsive and trustworthy communication style, which contributes to the team's collaboration.

Additional Information

  • Location: Feralco Nordic's headquarters in Sölvesborg, with some time working from home
  • Organization: Reports to the Marketing Manager
  • Travel: Occurs primarily within the district but also some travel to customers, events, and fairs in the Nordic region.
  • Working hours: Full-time, daytime
  • Salary: Individual salary setting
