Workplace Description

The Northern Skarpnäck preschools consist of thirteen preschools in the district that collaborate on pedagogical development. This is reflected in a joint internal training and shared services that support the pedagogical content.

The preschools have beautiful indoor environments, and we have fantastic nature surrounding our preschools that provide endless opportunities for children to engage with nature, movement, and play. Our preschool environments should attract, inspire, and challenge children in play towards learning and exploration together with other children and staff.

Job Description

We are looking for substitute preschool teachers for our preschools in the Northern Skarpnäck preschool area. The position is a temporary role starting immediately until August 31. Your role is to work with the team to drive the pedagogical work forward. We hope to find you, who like us, have the ambition to provide children with a safe, developing, fun, and educational time at preschool. We are looking for someone who understands the importance of good and close cooperation with guardians and other close individuals in the child's environment. You are capable of building trust and confidence while being clear about your professional boundaries.

Qualifications

The position requires you to master the Swedish language and communicate in Swedish both verbally and in writing. You are a trained preschool teacher and feel comfortable working both independently and in a team.

It is important that you, as a preschool teacher, are present and active with the children. You show joy, curiosity, and engagement in the children's exploration and ask the staff what you should do or what they expect from you. In our preschools, we work to ensure that children succeed and feel good throughout the day. The prerequisite for this is that we, as adults, always take responsibility for situations that arise. We respond, meet, and confirm the children, showing them that they are important and that their words and actions are taken seriously.

Our families are accustomed to a well-functioning operation, and there is great trust in our preschools, which means that you are also expected to greet everyone kindly and friendly, for example, by introducing yourself and saying hello to all children and families when you are together outside in the yard. We will take great consideration of your personal suitability.

The working hours are full-time, Monday to Friday, daytime.
