Ytterbyskolan is now looking for a teacher in German and English for a temporary position during the spring term.

We are Kungälv's largest secondary school with 22 classes, where we work in grade-specific teams to create the best possible conditions for our students. You will be part of one of the school's teams and teach Swedish and possibly another subject in which you are qualified.

You will be an important part of the team, where you and your colleagues share mentorship and responsibility for the students in the team together. The school has a complete student health team aimed at supporting the processes of the teams. With shared knowledge and experiences, we want to create context, continuity, and progression in the students' development and learning. We believe in working together!

In the coming school years, our joint focus will be on developing our accessible learning environment and our additional adaptations in our classrooms. This is parallel to the school undergoing renovations to be new and fresh for the school year 26/27.

Responsibilities

You will teach with guidance and stimulation for an accessible learning environment in your subject based on the curriculum. You will contribute with competence, innovation, systematic approaches, and willingness to collaborate in the team's work with additional adaptations, safety, and study peace, as well as interdisciplinary collaborations. You will act as a supportive adult in your role as a mentor for a number of students. You will work formatively with the students' knowledge and continuously document in our shared tool Unikum.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone qualified to teach grades 7-9 in German and English.

Your learning occurs in trusting relationships, and you collaborate professionally with the guardians of our students. Knowledge of digital learning tools for students in need of support is seen as an advantage.
