Hamburgsund School is a F-9 school with a total of about 300 students, of which about 150 are in the upper grades.

The school is located in Hamburgsund, a coastal community with direct access to the sea and nature. The Position

The position is preliminarily divided between Hamburgsund School (60%) and possibly Backa and Lur schools (20%).

Responsibilities

The position requires you to have a broad musical knowledge and engaged pedagogical leadership. The position is aimed at grades 1-9 and also includes mentoring assignments in the upper grades. Music education at Hamburgsund School currently takes place in a brand new music room that was completed for the spring term of 2025 as part of the school's ongoing renovation and expansion.

Qualifications and Personal Attributes

You are a certified teacher with qualifications to teach grades 1-9. You are collaborative, good at building positive relationships with colleagues, students, and guardians. In your work, you are positive about development, digital tools, and understand the importance of creating a lifelong learning environment.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

In the absence of qualified applicants, it may be relevant to hire on a temporary contract as an unqualified teacher.

We Offer

A permanent position at 60-80 percent. The position is a holiday service. Start date from the autumn term of 2025 or by agreement.
