Hamburgsund School is a F-9 school with a total of about 300 students, of which about 150 are in the upper secondary level.

The school is located in Hamburgsund, a coastal community with direct access to the sea and nature. The school prepares children and students for the future, a mission that feels meaningful here and now. With us, everyone should feel safe, have a sense of community, and experience joy. The school is currently undergoing a major renovation and expansion that will be gradually utilized over the next two years.

Job Responsibilities

The position is focused on the upper secondary level, primarily teaching mathematics and natural sciences.

Qualifications and Personal Attributes

We are looking for someone with a teaching degree and certification to teach mathematics and natural sciences.

You are collaborative, skilled at building good relationships with colleagues, students, and guardians. In your work, you are positive about development, digital tools, and understand the importance of creating a lifelong learning environment. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

If there are no qualified applicants, it may be possible to hire someone on a temporary contract as an unqualified teacher.

We Offer

A permanent full-time position starting before the autumn term of 2025. The position will be filled subject to the necessary decisions being made.
