Tjautjas School is a F-3 school located in the village of Tjautjasjaure, about 30 km, or 30 minutes from the town of Gällivare. The school's teaching is conducted in B-form as the number of students is small. The atmosphere at the school is characterized by care and closeness, and the work is always done with the best interests of the students in mind. The school has a calm and safe atmosphere. We place great emphasis on pedagogical development, and the upcoming school year will focus on participation, collaboration, and quality development in our development work.

Job Responsibilities

We believe that you have a degree in the early years of primary school F-6, as the main tasks consist of teaching in grades F-3. You will handle daily contact with students, colleagues, and guardians. You will actively participate in the school's development work both within and outside your own school.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a qualified teacher with a teaching license for the early years of primary school, F-6, or other equivalent education and who wants to work in a smaller unit, in a calm atmosphere! We believe that you are positive, create engagement, participation, and meet each student's needs. As a person, you are attentive and create good relationships, both with students, colleagues, and guardians. In your work with students, you are clear in your leadership. We also believe that you are innovative and interested in school development, and we place great value on the ability to collaborate and cooperate. Personal suitability is highly valued.

An extract from the police criminal record is required.

Within the framework of the national minority language law, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli, and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is an asset when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.
