We are looking for an engaged manager with a strong interest in community building, who can drive the development of both employees and working methods forward.

The Assignment

• Be a central force in our effort to renew and streamline our community building processes.
• Hold a strategic role and work closely with other managers within the department and organization.
• Be responsible for producing necessary and quality-assured documentation for decisions. You respect and actively work to ensure that decisions are implemented and followed up.
• Be responsible for budget, operations, and personnel within the unit.
• In collaboration with others, develop innovative and effective working methods in the municipality's forward-looking organization.

You are a person with a strong interest in community issues and curious about collaboration with other municipalities, partners, and colleagues. As a manager and leader in our organization, we see that you lead yourself, your employees, and the operations from a holistic perspective with sustainability in focus.

You enjoy working closely with your employees and build teams that make a difference when it really matters. Your background can be in both the private and public sectors, and you have relevant academic education with a degree from a college/university or work experience that we consider equivalent. You have experience in leadership and are clear and secure in that role. Previous managerial positions are advantageous.

You have a documented ability to lead and collaborate with various stakeholders to drive change. Experience in leading change processes and developing new working methods is advantageous.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
