Mariaskolan is a K-6 school with approximately 130 students and an after-school program, located in a residential area near the center. At Mariaskolan, the Gällivare model project is underway, which means that in each class from grades 1-6, there is a teaching responsible teacher and a class mentor.

Mariaskolan in Gällivare municipality is currently seeking 2 teachers for grades 4-6.

Job Responsibilities

Work as a teacher in grades 4-6 at Mariaskolan. Teaching also occurs in other grades, and we will allocate positions based on certification and will adjust your position according to your qualifications.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with certification for primary school. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and experience working with children and youth.

Requirement upon employment – extract from the police criminal record.

Within the framework of the national minority language law, Gällivare municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli, and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is advantageous when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.
