Norconsult is now looking for an Assistant Project Manager who wants to help drive geotechnical projects forward!
About the position
This is a consulting assignment with good opportunities for direct recruitment. In this role, you will initially be employed by Bravura, and it is stated that Norconsult Fältgeoteknik AB intends to offer you employment with them in the long term. About the company
Norconsult Fältgeoteknik is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Norconsult AB. They conduct geotechnical and environmental investigations within all types of projects, from large complicated infrastructure projects to individual small construction projects, from preliminary planning to pile length determination. They also perform radon measurements and stability investigations. Their client base is broad, ranging from private entities to large public clients such as the Swedish Transport Administration. Norconsult Fältgeoteknik offers a comprehensive solution for geotechnical investigations and delivers a complete solution to their clients, including field reports on completed work. They also perform radon measurements and stability investigations and offer marine drilling with a barge, core drilling, DTH drilling, underwater drones, and environmental technical investigations. All investigation methods are carried out according to Eurocode.
Job responsibilities
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will work closely with the project manager to plan, coordinate, and follow up on projects. In your role, you will handle a variety of administrative tasks, such as scheduling assignments in the calendar, initiating management investigations, and driving the work with permits, which means you will have many contacts via phone and email. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing and filling out necessary documents. The work requires close communication with technicians, field staff, clients, and authorities to ensure an efficient workflow. You will relay information to the field staff and ensure they have the right materials, while also monitoring that projects stay within budget and managing invoicing. Quality assurance and workplace safety are central aspects where you contribute to ensuring that work is carried out according to established requirements and that safety risks are managed appropriately. Your work covers all of Sweden, and although you may sometimes need to visit the site for a better overview, most tasks are handled from the office. The role also includes continuously identifying improvement opportunities in workflows and processes to increase efficiency and ensure a smooth implementation process.

Education, experience, and personal qualities
• Completed high school education
• Previous work experience in administration/coordination, experience in a similar role is an advantage
• Good knowledge of the Office suite, specifically Excel
• Fluent in Swedish and English
