Sandvik School is the small school with big opportunities, beautifully located in the Hummelmora area of Viksjö. The school currently accommodates activities from preschool class up to grade 6. In addition, the school has adapted primary school, resource classes, after-school care, and a leisure club. Currently, the school has 225 students and 51 staff.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a strong leader in the classroom who wants to give students a safe and stimulating start to their educational journey. You should be professionally skilled, engaged, and responsible.

Your mission includes planning and conducting teaching in all subjects with a clear focus on early language, reading, and writing learning. You adapt the teaching through differentiated methods to meet each student's needs and continuously follow up on their development with your good assessment competence.

Together with other educators in the work team, you are responsible for creating and developing a safe and secure environment that attracts and challenges students to activity, learning, and responsibility. You want to be part of driving pedagogical development, using current research and applying it in your work. You plan and follow up on teaching, analyze and assess the results.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Licensed teacher with a focus on grades F-3
• Solid knowledge and experience in early language, reading, and writing learning
• Ability to conduct differentiated teaching and good assessment competence
• Independent and strong leader in the classroom
• Ability to see the whole picture and collaborate with both after-school care and the school's student health
• Ability to take responsibility for the entire mission and drive students' development forward, both academically and socially
