About us
At the Management Unit at the historic Karlberg Castle, we develop and implement training in management and administration. We work with both classroom-based and online learning, and our target groups are primarily managers and specialists within the Swedish Armed Forces.
Main responsibilities
You will plan, administer, implement, evaluate, and develop training in military logistics with a focus on handling training. You will teach to some extent but can also enlist the help of internal and external specialists. In collaboration with your colleagues in the unit, you will develop and create a cohesive and clear range of training programs.
You will work both independently and in teams with other course leaders in the subject area. The position involves significant personal responsibility and freedom in how you plan and carry out your assignments.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Experience working with the handling of explosive materials in the Swedish Armed Forces
- Good communication skills and experience collaborating in networks
- Good administrative skills
Personal qualities
You need to have a good ability to collaborate in different constellations since the role of course leader involves creating and maintaining relationships both within and outside the Swedish Armed Forces. At the same time, you need to be able to work independently. You are good at creating structure and planning, which is required as administration is an important part of the job. You are solution-oriented and find new solutions when needed. In stressful situations, you maintain your calm and handle stress constructively. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
DESIRABLE
- Experience working with the handling of flammable materials in the Swedish Armed Forces
- Some experience in pedagogical work
- Experience producing digital training materials
Other
The position is a permanent, full-time employment. Business travel may occur. A six-month probationary period applies for those not currently employed in the Swedish Armed Forces. Start date: June 2025 or by agreement. Work location: Stockholm/Solna (Military Academy Karlberg). Psychological tests may be used in the recruitment process. In the Swedish Armed Forces, the position is referred to as Course Leader. The position is civilian.
