The Sweden-Finnish School is a free school located at Fridhemsplan. We are a bilingual school with about 500 students and 70 staff members.
We are looking for a teacher in chemistry and biology or technology, as well as mentorship. You should have good collaboration skills, as you will be part of a team with other mathematics and science teachers. We hope that you are bilingual, but if not, that you are positive towards bilingualism and everything it entails. We have students who come directly from Finland to our school, and their education may be structured a bit differently, so it is important that the teacher is flexible and sees opportunities.
Preferred qualifications: experience in the above subjects and mathematics teaching, bilingual Swedish - Finnish.
The position is a temporary contract during a parental leave, for the school year 2025-2026. In the autumn of 2025 at 65% and in the spring of 2026 at 35%. The position will decrease with chemistry as a parental leave ends.
Selection and interviews will be ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
