Working with Pamoja in schools is fantastic. You get a glimpse straight into the future and a chance to be an important role model for the adult world.
Meanwhile, Pamoja supports you in your job. We are close when you need us, via chat, email, phone, or at our Campus.
We are now looking for someone who wants to work as a teaching assistant in a special needs school. As a teaching assistant, your mission is to help and support students throughout the school day; in the classroom, during breaks, at activities, and tasks such as meals. The role also includes helping students practice everyday tasks.
Part of the job may involve caring and assisting tasks such as moving around or remembering to take medication. You will always receive instructions and guidance from the responsible teacher.
A varied, developing, and fun assignment where you get to contribute to ensuring that children and young people in need of special support receive a safe and motivating education.
About working with Pamoja!
With Pamoja, you work freely and flexibly - safely and organized. You also get to learn new things while you work - in schools, preschools, shops, restaurants, and more.
With Pamoja, you work on short notice (often the same morning).
You are always uniquely matched to your assignments (based on your profile and preferences). You never have to compete with colleagues for jobs or be rejected by clients. Our requirement is that you can work at least 2 days a week (Are you a student? Then we expect you can work at least 1 day/week).
You can easily manage the job in our smart app. You will be employed by us and work safely with a collective agreement. Additionally, you will receive both a personal coach and a whole support team when you need it before, during, and after work.
Work with Pamoja in schools and preschools
When you work in schools, you get a glimpse straight into the future and a chance to be a role model for the adult world. Right now, we are looking for someone who wants to work as a substitute in schools. Together, we will find out which subjects and grades suit you!
Pamoja is the largest in Sweden for substitutes in schools. We have agreements with many schools and preschools and a lot of different and exciting assignments to work with! Take the chance to make a difference for children and young people!
What do you need to know?
You need to have a completed high school diploma, speak and write Swedish, and have a valid extract from the criminal record (order it today, so you can get to work faster). You also need to have at least 6 months of teaching experience or have worked with children and young people in other educational activities, such as a sports coach or youth leader. Of course, you are a role model for both children and adults - smart and kind, simply put :)
How to apply for the job
Our recruitment process is modern, fast, and free of prejudice. You apply for the job in three simple steps without a CV. The first step is to fill out a short form about yourself. Then it's time to take our smart job test. The test makes it easier for us to understand who you are. In the next step, we will meet in a video call. If you pass all the steps, you can start working within a few days (it usually goes quickly!). You will be employed by us and work safely with a collective agreement. Or as a consultant if you prefer that. Of course, you will receive a proper introduction to the job before you start.
