Software Asset Manager

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Software Asset Manager, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the company's software portfolio. As a SAM, you will be a key player in ensuring that the company has a cost-effective and legal management of software licenses, as well as keeping the company updated with current license agreements and compliance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Tasks

  • Proactively work to improve software investments.
  • Ensure that the right licenses are in the right place and analyze costs.
  • Contact with suppliers, follow-up on agreements and costs.
  • Manage orders in the case management system, invoice review.
  • Administration and support regarding services, software orders, license management, subscription issues, and user support.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Has relevant education in IT, economics, or similar.
  • Has a good understanding of software licenses and IT purchasing.
  • Speaks and writes fluently in Swedish and English.

It is a merit if you have

  • Experience from a similar role in IT purchasing and license management.
  • Knowledge of licensing models from Microsoft, Adobe, IBM, and Oracle.
  • Experience with SAM tools and analysis of software portfolios.
