We are looking for an experienced Java Developer for an exciting and long-term assignment in the payments area. The assignment involves working on-site in central Malmö and offers the opportunity to become part of a well-functioning and cohesive team that works with both new development and management of business-critical systems.

About the Role

In this role, you will work in an agile and cross-functional team, where collaboration, problem-solving, and knowledge sharing are central parts of the working methodology. The team is responsible for the entire lifecycle of systems and services, which means you will work on both developing new features and optimizing existing solutions.

Responsibilities include:

– Backend development in JavaEE, where you contribute to robust and scalable code.

– Development and improvement of payment flows and related systems.

– Implementation of automated testing and security in the development process (DevSecOps).

– Working in a microservices architecture and managing integrations via REST and JMS.

– Version control and code management via Git and Bitbucket.

– CI/CD pipeline management with tools like TeamCity and Jenkins.

– Database management with PostgreSQL.

Qualifications and Experience

To succeed in this role, we see that you have:

✔ Solid experience in backend development in JavaEE and an understanding of modern development principles.

✔ Experience working in agile cross-functional teams.

✔ Knowledge of Git, JPA, Maven, Bitbucket, REST, and JMS.

✔ Ability to work both independently and in a team, with a proactive approach and good problem-solving skills.

✔ Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Desirable Experiences

It is an advantage if you also have experience in:

➕ Banking and payment systems, where understanding transactional flows is a strength.

➕ DevSecOps principles and automated testing.

➕ Microservices architecture and WebSphere/OpenLiberty.

➕ CI/CD tools like TeamCity and Jenkins.

➕ Working with PostgreSQL and database management.
