We are in a period with several retirements and need to recruit to fulfill our mission. The job as a district nurse is varied and challenging with a multitude of different tasks.
A lot is happening in primary care as we transition to be the hub of healthcare and we are also working on the transition to Close Care.
We are looking for
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with further education as a district nurse. It is an advantage if you have an interest in and education in diabetes and asthma/COPD. Furthermore, computer skills, knowledge of Cosmic, experience in primary care and outpatient work, as well as experience in the discharge process with Lifecare/SIP are advantageous.
We place great importance on personal qualities. As a person, you are secure and stable, flexible, service-oriented, and have good collaboration skills.
What you will work with
Kalix Health Center is one of the largest in Region Norrbotten with 15,600 registered patients and about 60-70 employees. The operations include doctor and nurse consultations, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, psychosocial team, and medical foot care. Our Family Center is run together with the municipality and includes maternal and child health care.
As a district nurse, you will be part of a team where we distribute tasks based on competence, experience, and consideration of individual interests. We work based on the primary care order where telephone advice and assessment are important parts – this is also managed via a digital entry, a chat function. We are responsible for the work around the discharge process with SIP:ar (SIP:ar) and issuing self-care certificates. We are a day-time emergency center and have open reception via drop-in two days a week, booked reception covering medication distribution, injections, infusions, vaccinations, blood sampling from venous ports/piccline, wound dressings, nephrostomies, etc.

Information about the position
We offer permanent employment full-time, daytime Monday to Friday. Start date according to agreement.
Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
